RafiKis Place has been reimagined for the Guests to immerse themselves in the true African bushveld yet enjoy all the modern amenities available at the recently completed Lodge.

This beautiful Holiday home has tar roads to the Lodge and is situated on a private cul-de-sac allowing complete privacy and seclusion from the outside world yet conveniently situated close to all the entertainment and facilities that Mabalingwe Nature Reserve offers.

When you arrive, there is complimentary shaded parking for 4 cars as well as Wi-Fi throughout the house and patio area.

The house can accommodate 10 guests in five bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Two bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. The downstairs en suite bedroom has a queen bed, and the bathroom has a bath and a secluded outdoor shower. The upstairs en suite bedroom has a queen bed, and the bathroom is equipped with a shower. Two of the other bedrooms are equipped with queen beds and the last one has two singles. The other two bathrooms, one downstairs, one upstairs are equipped with showers.

RafiKis Place took the decision to make the Lodge as Eco friendly as possible and our first step was to install two heat pumps for the hot water needs of the lodge. These units use 75% less power than conventional geysers. We have also installed inverter air conditions which are energy efficient. Soon, the Lodge will be equipped with an inverter/battery backup and solar panels.

All beds and bases are from the Restonic Hospitality range and are queen size and two singles.

The linen selected is a hospitality range which is 100% cotton 205TC and has been selected for its comfort and feel. All towels both bath and pool are supplied.

All bedrooms have been equipped with Alliance remote controlled inverter air conditioners as well as wall-controlled ceiling fans.

The bedrooms have individual reading lights, as well as USB plug points either side of the bed.

The kitchen has been carefully stocked and has cutlery and crockery for any occasion as well as catering for the “Foodies”. There is a gas hob and an electric oven, modern microwave, upright fridge freezer, electric and gas kettles as well as a dishwasher.

The design of the drinks station is to accommodate an upright fridge freezer, Snomaster 20kg ice machine, an array of glasses and a built-in bin for your convenience.

The lounge area has a comfortable suite with a 50in Toshiba smart TV conveniently positioned on the wall. RafiKis Place has complimentary premium DSTV package.

The dining area is conveniently situated next to the kitchen for easy catering and serving.

The living area opens through large stacking doors to incorporate the covered patio which has a comfortable patio suite overlooking the watering hole and stunning views of the African bushveld.

There is also a splash pool on the deck to cool off on those hot summer days or nights with sun loungers and a cantilever umbrella for shade.

The roofed Lapa area has a kiaat 10-seater table and chairs, a Lava Fires built in braai with stainless steel cooking grid and a braai light. All braai utensils are available for your convenience including a potjie pot, flat bottom pot and stainless-steel sandwich grid. There is a 50in Toshiba smart TV, so you don’t miss any of your favourite sport or programmes.

Rate for the house is R 6,350.00 p/n (inclusive of VAT)

Rate for the Land Rover is R 1500.00 p/d including fuel (inclusive of VAT)
